1995 Collectors Guide to Amer. Transportation Toys

1995 Collectors Guide to Amer. Transportation Toys

I consider Joe and Sharon Freed's book "Collector's Guide to American Transportation Toys 1895 - 1941 as an invaluable source of information for every toy enthusiast. Its 424 glossy pages are "chock-a block" loaded with black and white and color photographs with detailed descriptions including variations of just about every American built toy car, truck, airplane, and everything else that moves.

I've owned this book since new and am only parting with it because I found a copy in "upgraded" condition. It is complete, however some of the pages are loose (particularly the Marx and Buddy L stuff). And although it hasn't any tears I did have to have it professionally rebound once (which is the reason for the black spine), plus the corners and edges have curls, creases, and wear. Still, it's been out of print for a while and is kind of tough to find. Pages are still very bright white with just a hint of overall yellowing from age. Hope it gets many more years of use.
